Let's reflect on the Experience

“Now that  the whole thing is over and done, I’m beginning to view my scrolling habits differently…” Ultimately, it was just three days… three long, difficult days with their fair share of hiccups here and there. The days felt much longer without social media, but I did get more work done. First coming into this, I was under the assumption that this would be a cake walk; after all, I’m typically busy with many different things: schoolwork, workouts, work, etc. In addition to this, I don’t post on my social media accounts at all, except for my spam Instagram account. A Friday Night Slip-Up and the Pinterest Loophole

The majority of my days are filled with things like school, work, homework, working out, spending time with family, and, being the creative person that I am, there are moments where I dive deep into drawing or designing things. Some days I even just drive all around town and shop for the various things I don’t really need. Yet, I still utilize social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter(X), TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and even Snapchat just to remain up-to-date on the current events or people around me. Now, I don’t mean to bring back any nostalgia, but I remember getting my first phone in like 3rd grade. It was one of those ...
